More than just a couple of flashing LEDs...

Plug it into the end of a DMX cable and hear the chirping of the DMX clocking cycles.  As data is sent you hear different tones.  You can even start to recognize what's being sent.  Bizarre huh?  

As with the original, the DMX SoundPlug contains a very sensitive high impedance specialized transducer connected  across pins 2 & 3 of a male 5 pin XLR plug.  It makes the clocking cycles and data audible.
